A delegation from DHL Germany, a globally renowned logistics enterprise, visited the School of International Education at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University for a friendly exchange with faculty and students. The visit served as a return engagement following our international class’s study tour to DHL’s North Asia Hub in Pudong, further strengthening mutual understanding between both sides.
Yan Hui, Assistant to the President and Dean of the School of International Education, and Feng Yuqiang, Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, attended the meeting. Director Yan introduced the university’s achievements in infrastructure development, teaching quality enhancement, and talent cultivation. Representatives from DHL shared updates on industry trends and the company’s culture, and both sides exchanged views on the relationship between vocational education and industry development.
After the discussion, the delegation toured the campus and the UAV training laboratory. The DHL representatives expressed appreciation for the university’s advanced training facilities and engaged in discussions with students and faculty regarding the application prospects of UAV technology in low-altitude logistics.
Previously, students from the School of International Education had visited the DHL North Asia Hub for an on-site learning experience. By observing modern logistics operations and interacting with frontline managers, students gained a clearer understanding of international logistics processes and broadened their professional horizons. This two-way exchange marks a solid step forward in strengthening industry–education cooperation at the university.
