This autumn, the campus of SHZQU was filled with laughter, warmth, and the delightful scent of German culture. Over five vibrant days, the German Culture Week brought Chinese and German students together through crafts, food, music, and friendship.
From making chestnut “friendship tokens” and exploring “Coordinates on the Rhine” to tasting German cookies, drinks, and bread, every activity turned cultural exchange into shared joy. At the Yihe Bay market, students discovered new flavors through a blind box challenge, while the aroma of fresh bread and the excitement of spinning wheels filled the night with laughter.
The highlight came during the Oktoberfest celebration, where students raised their glasses, sang together, and celebrated friendship beyond borders. The German cultural week concluded with a screening of “Heidi,” a gentle finale that left hearts warmed by the spirit of connection.
From crafts to cuisine, SHZQU’s German Culture Week was more than a celebration — it was a bridge of understanding, reminding everyone that culture, like friendship, is best shared with an open heart.
