Zhejiang Ninghai Female Entrepreneurs Association and Shanghai Ningbo Chamber of Commerce Visit Zhongqiao University

On June 20, leaders and business representatives from Zhejiang Ninghai Female Entrepreneurs Association and Shanghai Ningbo Chamber of Commerce paid a visit to Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University to explore collaboration in industry-academia-research integration, talent development, and internship and employment opportunities. The event aimed to connect Zhejiang’s high-quality enterprise resources with the university’s programs, deepen school-enterprise cooperation, and bridge the “last mile” between student development and local industry needs. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Wu Youzhi of  Zhongqiao University.

University President Cao Yuping extended a warm welcome to the delegation, emphasizing that Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University remains committed to cultivating technically skilled talent. He noted the university’s ongoing efforts to optimize its program offerings and practical training systems, and to build a talent-development model that deeply integrates academic learning with industrial practice.

At the session, Wang Haibo, President of the Zhejiang Ninghai Female Entrepreneurs Association, drew on her own entrepreneurial journey to share the association’s extensive work in manufacturing, cultural tourism, and rural revitalization. She expressed the association’s dedication to promoting both local industry growth and the advancement of female professionals, and looked forward to forging closer ties with Zhongqiao University in joint talent cultivation, collaborative research projects, and innovation-and-entrepreneurship support.

Ms. Yan Hongjuan of Shanghai Zhongqiao University reviewed the institution’s rapid development since its founding. She expressed the hope that the university could leverage Zhejiang’s strong enterprise resources to further enrich joint curriculum development, talent training, and student internship and employment programs, ensuring that school-enterprise partnerships continue to grow in depth and impact.


Representatives from both the university and the visiting enterprises also discussed specific topics such as job requirements, co-development of training platforms, and internship placements. Following the meeting, the delegation toured the university’s Intelligent Manufacturing Training Center, Biomedicine Training Center, and Information Engineering Training Center to gain an in-depth understanding of the school’s practical training facilities and students’ hands-on capabilities. All were highly impressed by the university’s specialized resources and the proficiency of its students.
