On the afternoon of May 18, Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University hosted the “2025 Campus Open Day and International Joint Program Launch” at the Academic Hall. The event welcomed students and parents interested in international education, offering a comprehensive overview of the university’s internationalization efforts and the latest progress in joint programs with overseas institutions.

Participants from Shanghai and surrounding areas joined in through program briefings, campus tours, and consultations, gaining first-hand experience of SHZQU’s global education environment and training philosophy.

Yan Hui, Director of the International Affairs Office and Dean of the School of International Education, delivered a welcome speech, emphasizing the university’s commitment to a “practice-oriented, interdisciplinary” approach. She noted that SHZQU has built diverse, multi-level partnerships with top global institutions and offers full support in language preparation, academic readiness, and cultural integration—helping students build a solid foundation at home and achieve breakthroughs abroad.

Wang Ling, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, pointed out that global economic changes and technological shifts demand greater competitiveness. International joint programs, he said, are not just academic choices but development strategies, expanding career paths from domestic to global opportunities.

Feng Yuqiang, Associate Dean of the School of International Education, highlighted the school’s interactive, open, and student-centered teaching environment, which fosters communication and problem-solving skills. He also introduced a dynamic tracking system and multi-level support mechanisms to ensure students are academically and emotionally prepared before going abroad.

After the launch, parents and students visited the teaching facilities, including language classrooms and academic support systems. The consultation area drew much attention, with many questions around language requirements, visas, overseas support, and career planning. Program staff provided detailed answers, helping families feel confident about the journey ahead.

With its global curriculum, strong support systems, modern learning environment, and attentive services, SHZQU is building a bridge for young students to step confidently onto the international stage.
