On March 13th, a delegation of the Germany China Friendship Association (DCF, Deutsch-Chinesischer Freundschaftsverein e.V.) visited at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University. The delegation members include the head of the delegation, Luoding Lammel-Rath, Chairman of the DCF, Klaus Ladinser, board member of the association, Hans Peter Muessig, member of the association, Enrico Flath, Deputy Director of the Europe-America Division of the Shanghai People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (SPAFFC), Yuan Zhifeng, and Wang Jiayang, member of the Europe-America Division of SPAFFC, attended the research meeting. President Huo Jiazhen, Vice President Liu Shuyun, Dean Yan Hui of the School of International Education, and Dean Li Mei of the School of Foreign Languages participated in the meeting.
Prof. Huo Jiazhen warmly welcomed the visiters of the DCF and highlighted the recent international exchange and cooperation between our school and foreign universities which including teacher training, student and teacher exchanges, joint education programs and academic exchanges. Hoping to make full use of the important platform of the DCF. The DCF stated that it will leverage its resources and advantages in Germany and Europe to actively promote international exchanges and cooperation in vocational education.
After the meeting, the delegation visited the training room, library and gymnasium of SHZQU.
This visit consolidated and enhanced the friendly relations between Zhongqiao university and German partner which was promoted the cooperation and exchanges between the two sides. Building a platform for learning together is an important step to implement the strategy of promoting internationalization, lay out the blueprint for international cooperation, and actively explore international partnerships which is of great significance for Zhongqiao university to comprehensively improve the international school-running ability.
The Germany China Friendship Association (DCF, Deutsch-Chinesischer Freundschaftsverein e.V.) is a national organization founded in Germany in 1996 by current chairman Loding Lamo-Rat. Its aim is to promote and develop friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and Germany, as well as German-speaking countries and regions in Europe in the fields of economy, technology, culture, education, etc.
