On December 9, 2023, SHZQU sent 12 students and 1 teacher to the University of Oulu in Finland to participate in a 2-week study abroad program. This study abroad program is the first time our school has sent teachers and students to Finland for exchange.
On December 10th, the University of Oulu in Finland held a welcome dinner. Dr. Julius introduces the course schedule and team grouping, with dedicated teachers from the University of Oulu as well as experienced experts from the industry. The vivid and interesting teaching content and the realistic business model make the students who participate in the learning benefit greatly.
In order to better experience the local corporate management culture, members participated in the Estonian Business School's entrepreneurship class: Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Context of the Unicorn Nation where the activity started with a brainstorming session on entrepreneurship. Students have conducted further research on business operations and entrepreneurial models. In order for students to experience the local customs, the study tour group visited the world cultural heritage site, including medieval towns and other attractions.
On December 21st, the study tour group held a closing ceremony. During the ceremony, the University of Oulu recognized the performance of the students during their time at the school and awarded them project certificates, congratulating everyone on successfully completing the study abroad program. The successful conclusion of the study tour at the University of Oulu marks the end of the first collaborative project between the two schools. This exchange not only lays the foundation for further cooperation, but also provides students with a broader platform for learning and communication.
