INTRODUCTION

The major was established in 2000 for three-year vocational college education. In the decades of professional construction and development, it has formed a sound foundation in teaching and research.   It is now one of the biggest majors in terms of students number. In 2022, approval by the Ministry of Education, Big Data and Accounting for Bachelor’s Degree started to admit undergraduate students. A multi-level vocational education system of undergraduate education + vocational skill training has been formed to strengthen students' theoretical foundation and practical skills. The big data processing and AI knowledge and skill has been integrated into the accounting courses and training to enable students catch up the fast development of technology and professional changes. The training mode of school-enterprise cooperation is implemented and long-term partner enterprises provide stable training bases for the program to enable students gain practical experience at the same time of learning theoretical knowledge at school.
