
To help students clarify their undergraduate training path and strengthen the transition foundation of the Middle-to-Higher Vocational Integrated education model, the School of Food and Pharmacy successfully held a parent meeting for the 2025 cohort of the Food Quality and Safety program on October 31, 2025, at 9:00 AM on the second floor of the Library and Information Building. The meeting was hosted by Mrs. Ouyi Ming, Director of the Food Quality and Safety program, and attended by Vice Deans Ji Jing and Wang Yuan of the School of Food and Pharmacy.



Program Interpretation: Clarifying the Training Direction
In the introduction session of the Middle-to-Higher Vocational Integrated program, Ms. Xue Lizhi, Director of the Food Department at Shanghai Food Technology School, first provided a detailed explanation of the program’s core content, giving parents and students an initial understanding of the integrated program. Subsequently, Vice Principal Xu Bing and Director Pi Xiaowen continued the discussion, elaborating on the specific requirements and suggestions for progression to higher education, as well as the support and safeguards for students' growth. This helped clarify the key points of the integrated training model, deepening everyone’s understanding of it.


Undergraduate Education: Envisioning the Future Blueprint
In the undergraduate education interpretation session, Vice President Wu Youzhi of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University introduced the university’s history, the positioning of vocational undergraduate education, faculty, and training facilities. He also detailed the program’s training objectives, career prospects, and professional certifications. Dai Yingying, Secretary of the School of Food and Pharmacy, shared the advanced and convenient aspects of the university’s living facilities, filling the attending students and parents with anticipation for future campus life.






Campus Tour: Experiencing the Campus Charm
Under the enthusiastic guidance of student ambassadors, students and parents toured the campus and the School of Food and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Through the explanations, parents learned about the school’s facilities and training conditions, and the advanced equipment left them impressed. This not only reassured them about their children’s future learning environment but also increased their recognition and trust in the School’s integrated training model. Vice Deans Ji Jing and Wang Yuan accompanied the tour, engaging in friendly conversations with parents and students and addressing their concerns.

This Middle-to-Higher Vocational Integrated Program Campus Visit event allowed students to experience campus life firsthand, gain a deeper understanding of the professional training path, and develop a clear perception of the learning environment and growth direction in the undergraduate stage. With this well-defined plan and proactive mindset, the students are expected to move forward steadily on their academic journey, accumulate solid experience, grow positively, and strive toward their dreams.
