Recently, the Food and Grain Track (Vocational Group) of the 2025 World Vocational College Skills Competition Finals concluded at Wuhu Vocational and Technical University. The competition attracted 100 representative teams from 28 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to compete on the same stage.

After fierce competition, four students majoring in Food Quality and Safety, including Chen Xinyi, Wu Yicheng, Jiang Zhiyi, and Wang Wenjie, who were guided by three teachers from the School of Food and Pharmacy at our university, Chen Jianlan, He Yushan, and Tao Lina, won the bronze award with their solid skills.

In the face of competition system adjustments, the Food Quality and Safety major focuses on in-depth analysis of competition modules, continuously optimizing project plans, and promoting iterative upgrades in project design through summer focused competition preparation training. By deeply integrating production and education to achieve resource sharing, integrating cutting-edge industry technologies with real work scenarios into competitions, and achieving seamless connection between talent cultivation and enterprise needs. We have built a growth and development platform for students, from professional skills training to advanced water sports.
