In order to deepen vocational education cooperation and industrial docking between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and promote technological innovation and talent cultivation in the field of food quality and safety, a Bulgarian small and medium-sized enterprise training course organized by the Food Quality and Safety Professional Committee of the China Central and Eastern European Countries Vocational College Industry Education Alliance recently visited Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University for exchange, accompanied by representatives from the International Business Officer Training Institute of the Ministry of Commerce. Wu Youzhi, Vice President of Zhongqiao University, Yan Hui, Assistant President and Minister of International Affairs, and Ji Jing, Vice Dean of the School of Food and Pharmacy, attended the welcoming ceremony.
In his speech, Wu Youzhi expressed gratitude for the trust and support of the Ministry of Commerce and the Industry Education Alliance, and warmly welcomed the arrival of Bulgarian entrepreneurs. He emphasized that the school actively responds to the national Belt and Road initiative and strives to build a vocational education cooperation demonstration highland with international influence. He introduced the practice and achievements of our university in cultivating compound technical skills talents with global vision, professional skills, and cross-cultural communication abilities, and expressed willingness to deepen cooperation with Central and Eastern European partners to contribute to the internationalization of vocational education through the Zhongqiao Plan.
Yan Hui gave a detailed introduction to the development history of our university, focusing on the progress made in international cooperation, talent cultivation, and other aspects, as well as the measures taken to promote the construction of a new pattern of international exchange and cooperation that is comprehensive, multi-level, and wide-ranging. She comprehensively demonstrated the development achievements under the guidance of the international education strategy.
Ji Jing focused on the mission of the Food Special Committee and our school's practice, sharing the development process, mission responsibilities, and cutting-edge exploration of the School of Food and Pharmacy in international industry education integration. She systematically introduced that the special committee has formed a benign ecology of high-quality employment and sustainable development in four aspects: faculty strength, practical training conditions, industry university research application, and talent cultivation, fully confirming the effectiveness of our school's talent cultivation in the field of food quality and safety.
Representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Bulgarian business guests jointly visited the International Education College, gymnasium, library, drone training room, and relevant professional training rooms of the School of Food and Pharmacy.
The advanced facilities, strong academic atmosphere, and full spirit of teachers and students left a deep impression on the guests. They frequently stopped and recorded many wonderful moments with their cameras, giving high praise to our university's educational strength and environment.
The successful holding of this Bulgarian SME training course is an important practice for our school to deepen the integration of industry and education between China and Central and Eastern European countries, and promote the coordinated development of food quality and safety. Through in-depth communication and on-site inspections, both sides will further deepen school enterprise collaboration, standard exchange, and resource sharing, which will inject strong momentum into the upgrading and innovation of the food industry chain in Central and Eastern Europe.
