In order to deepen international education cooperation, further strengthen talent cultivation and discipline construction, and promote in-depth exchanges between domestic and foreign universities, Professor Jarmo Palm, representative of Helsinki City University of Applied Sciences, visited the School of Food and Pharmacy for research and exchange from May 12th to 15th. Vice President Professor Wu Youzhi, Vice Dean Ji Jing, Vice Dean Wang Yuan, Professional Leader Professor Xu Shujun, Professional Director Ou Yiming, and and relevant professional full-time teachers participated in this study exchange.
On the morning of the 12th, Professor Jarmo Palm, accompanied by the school and college leaders, visited the college's experimental training room and highly praised the college's experimental training construction and practical teaching mode.
From the afternoon of the 12th to the 14th, both sides had a two-way exchange on the Sino Finnish cooperative education and training program, jointly exploring practical and innovative education models, and providing valuable suggestions on how to enhance the quality of joint education.
On the morning of the 13th, Professor Jarmo Palm went to Room 315 in Building 6 to observe Danial Hassani's class. During this observation and learning, he was deeply impressed by the vivid teaching methods demonstrated by the teacher and the fully equipped teaching environment.
On the morning of the 14th, Professor Jarmo Palm gave an academic lecture in Room 206 of Building 1. The atmosphere was lively and the interaction was frequent. The teachers present listened attentively and expressed that they had benefited greatly.
On the morning of the 15th, Teacher Ou led a team to accompany Professor Jarmo Palm on a visit to two companies. While understanding the corporate culture, talent structure, and products, they also visited the production lines of the companies on site. Professor Jarmo Palm expressed great satisfaction with this visit and exchange activity. He lamented the rapid development of the domestic food industry and expressed confidence in the future cooperation with the college.
Through this study exchange, the resource sharing of international education cooperation has been deepened, and a solid foundation has been laid for joint training of professional talents, achieving a win-win situation.
