On the morning of April 16th, Professor Cao Yuping, the headmaster, and his delegation visited the School of Food and Pharmacy to conduct research and guidance, conducted on-site inspections of the school's development, and had discussions and exchanges with the school's party and government leadership team. At the meeting, Vice Dean Ji Jing gave a brief introduction to the overview of the college, focusing on the recent progress and achievements in discipline construction, talent cultivation, faculty team, scientific research and innovation. At the same time, she also pointed out the problems and shortcomings in the current development of the college. Subsequently, Chen Jianlan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the School of Food and Pharmacy, reported on the employment situation of students, the development plan of the branch, the improvement of students' vocational abilities, the current situation and plan of innovation and entrepreneurship. Principal Cao listened attentively, occasionally inquiring about key issues and engaging in in-depth communication with the attendees.
Subsequently, headmaster Cao and his delegation, accompanied by the leaders of the college, conducted an on-site inspection of the operation of the college's experimental training room and teaching equipment and facilities. During the inspection process, President Cao affirmed the achievements of the college's training center construction and provided guidance and requirements for improving the construction of the experimental training center.
At the end of the meeting, headmaster Cao put forward three requirements for the work of the college: firstly, to further clarify the development positioning, optimize the professional layout, focus on the forefront of the industry, dynamically adjust the professional settings, create characteristic professional groups, and cultivate high-quality applied talents suitable for industry needs; Secondly, deepen the integration of industry and education, strengthen cooperation with leading enterprises, and enhance the level of construction of training bases; Finally, we will strengthen the construction of the teaching staff, improve the mechanism for talent attraction and education, stimulate the innovation vitality of teachers, actively strengthen the cooperation and introduction of enterprise renowned teachers, and create a dual teacher team with excellent business skills. In addition, in terms of student cultivation and innovation and entrepreneurship, he proposed that the college should deepen education and teaching reform, strengthen practical teaching, encourage students to participate in subject competitions and innovation and entrepreneurship projects, strive for excellence, and strive to reach new heights and achieve new breakthroughs on the basis of existing achievements.
