On the afternoon of April 11th, the School of Food and Pharmacy held a meeting of all faculty. The meeting was chaired by Vice President Ji Jing, with Vice President Wang Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the Directly Affiliated Party Branch Chen Jianlan, and all faculty attending.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vice Dean Ji Jing provided a detailed explanation of the responsibilities and goals of the functional departments for the classification evaluation in 2025, as well as the key task allocation table for the secondary colleges, based on the completion status and existing problems of the 2024 classification evaluation. She also deployed how to implement and promote relevant work one by one. Subsequently, Dean Ji issued an initiative for the book donation activity of spreading the fragrance of books and nourishing the soul, hoping that all faculty and staff can actively participate and let knowledge and culture be qualitatively elevated.
Vice Dean Wang Yuan put forward specific requirements for the graduation defense work this semester. He presented various forms of the defense materials package on site, explained in detail the process of the defense and the details of filling out the forms, and emphasized that the evaluation of papers should strictly follow the principle of better quality than excess to ensure the quality and quantity of this defense work. At the same time, she sounded the alarm for all teachers regarding the teaching accidents that occurred during this stage, in conjunction with relevant regulations.
Chen Jianlan, Deputy Secretary of the Directly Affiliated Party Branch, reported on the current employment situation of students according to their majors, clarified the employment goals, and proposed methods for promoting the work. Subsequently, she briefly introduced the precautions for conducting entrepreneurship and innovation competitions, providing ideas for the preparation of subsequent competition materials. And emphasized the positive role of school enterprise cooperation in promoting enterprise practice, requiring every teacher to take it seriously and promote the development of related work.
Laboratory director Niu Wei briefly explained the instructions for using flammable, explosive, and easily producible drug reagents in the laboratory, and pointed out that chemical use, instrument and equipment management, fire safety, and laboratory water, electricity, doors, and windows hygiene should all be operated according to the prescribed procedures. Systematic management is the most effective guarantee to prevent accidents from occurring.
Through this meeting, we have further promoted the standardization and institutionalization of teaching, research, and student management in the college, and provided support for deepening the integration of industry and education in education and the smooth progress of evaluation work, helping the school to embark on a new journey of development.
