To further strengthen laboratory safety management and enhance the fire safety awareness and emergency response capabilities of teachers and students, on April 11, 2025, the School of Food and Pharmacy organized a laboratory fire safety training activity, with active participation from representatives of teachers and students.
During the training, the training specialist provided detailed explanations on fire prevention, use of fire-fighting facilities, emergency evacuation methods, etc., based on the characteristics of the food and drug laboratory, emphasizing the importance of standardized operations. Subsequently, the training specialist demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers and hydrants on site, and guided teachers and students in practical operations to ensure that everyone can respond to fires correctly and effectively at critical moments.
This training has enabled teachers and students to deeply understand the importance of laboratory fire safety, master practical fire safety skills, and lay a solid foundation for creating a safe and stable laboratory environment. The School of Food and Pharmacy will continue to strengthen laboratory safety management, regularly conduct relevant training and drills, and effectively ensure the safety of teachers and students' lives and property.
