To promote the review and evaluation of undergraduate education and ensure the implementation of various tasks, the School of Food and Pharmacy held a meeting on March 27, 2025 at 19:00 in Conference Room 304 of Building 6 to advance the evaluation of undergraduate teaching qualification. The meeting was chaired by Professor Chen Jianlan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the college, and all full-time and part-time counselors attended.
Teacher Chen Jianlan summarized the preparation work for the previous stage of evaluation and made detailed arrangements for the following work. She emphasized that in undergraduate teaching evaluation work, student work is as indispensable as teaching work. All counselors should attach great importance to and actively study various evaluation documents issued by the school, and effectively promote and interpret them to students in terms of understanding and comprehension. Counselors can enhance students' sense of collective honor and establish their sense of ownership through activities such as themed class meetings, knowledge quizzes, and school history and motto education.
The construction of class academic atmosphere is one of the main contents of undergraduate teaching qualification evaluation. Counselors should accurately grasp the characteristics of contemporary college students, pay attention to their ideological dynamics, stimulate students' enthusiasm, and provide suggestions for the construction of class academic atmosphere. At the same time, counselors should be good at using information technology and big data to finely manage the students they lead, effectively integrating the goals of academic atmosphere construction into students' daily management and class activity organization.
Teacher Chen Jianlan calls on everyone to have a high sense of responsibility and mission, strictly follow the evaluation standards and requirements, promote the orderly progress of various work, and jointly contribute to improving the teaching quality of the college.
