On March 7, 2025, the School of Food and Pharmacy held the preliminary round of the 3rd Zhongqiao Cup Teacher Teaching Skills Competition in Building 6 # 317. The meeting invited Zhu Weiwen, Director of the School Teacher Development Center, Dai Xiaobo, Commissioner of the School Academic Affairs Office, Wang Yuan, Vice Dean of the School of Food and Drug, Chen Jianlan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch of the School of Food and Drug, and Yang Jing, a senior teacher of the School of Food and Drug, to serve as judges for the competition. The college teachers observed the competition, which was hosted by Wang Yuan, Vice Dean of Teaching.
This teaching skills competition is participated by 6 teacher teams from different courses in our college. They used blackboard writing and multimedia tools, combined with professional and course characteristics, to provide in-depth and easy to understand explanations through current social hot events and vivid and interesting case analysis. With clever classroom design and silent integration of ideological and political education into the curriculum, they fully demonstrated the teacher's superb teaching skills.
The judges fully affirmed the good spirit and high teaching level demonstrated by the participating teachers. They conducted a detailed evaluation of the participating teachers in terms of appearance, teaching content arrangement, PPT and blackboard design, comprehensive use of teaching methods, teacher-student interaction, and integration of ideological and political education into the curriculum. They recommended the best teachers to participate in the school's teaching skills competition.
Through this competition, teachers have been provided with opportunities for communication and learning, broadening their horizons and playing a role in promoting teaching and learning through competition.
