On the noon of December 6th, the School of Food and Pharmacy held a faculty and staff meeting in Building 6, 304. Vice Dean Wang Yuan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Chen Jianlan, and all faculty and staff attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Vice Dean Ji Jing.
At the beginning of the meeting, Ji Jing provided a detailed explanation of the statistics and reward application documents for the school's research achievements in 2024, as well as the calculation and allocation methods for the college's research performance. She also put forward two requirements for the safety of the college's laboratories: 1. Every teacher must pay attention to laboratory safety issues, as one negligence may cause irreparable accidents. 2. Laboratory operations must comply with regulations. Before operation, it is not only necessary to explain the operation process in detail, but also to demonstrate and guide students one by one. More importantly, it is important to check whether students have operated properly.
At the meeting, Wang Yuan discussed the issue of classroom discipline, mid-term teaching inspection, and laboratory management reward and punishment system. She pointed out that teachers must hold a tight string in the classroom and not harbor a mentality of taking chances. She also put forward rectification suggestions for the compilation of teaching materials, standardization of student materials, teaching and experimental methods, etc.
Chen Jianlan gave a brief overview of three types of protocol materials, including student public opinion issues, safe use of laboratory reagents, and graduation internships, as well as the use of psychological assessments to relieve stress. She pointed out that teachers must prepare their lessons carefully, report problems in class in a timely manner, and avoid uncontrollable situations.
At the end of the meeting, two new counselors, Ren Yuqing and Guo Mengke, introduced themselves and expressed their willingness to cooperate with the college and do a good job in student affairs.
Through this meeting, all faculty and staff of the college have reached a consensus on action and will make positive contributions to the steady development of the School of Food and Pharmacy with full work enthusiasm and solid work style.
