Recently, the final of the 6th Angel Yeast Cup National Youth Baking Master Creative Bread Competition was held at the Wuhan International Expo Center. Our School of Food and Pharmacy student Zhu Yujie and Shanghai Trade School student Zhang Yue teamed up to win the bronze award!


After 8.5 hours of intense competition, the two collaborated seamlessly and completed multiple challenging works, including sweet bread, French bread, Italian bread, and artistic bread. They demonstrated their superb skills and innovative ideas in baking, and won a bronze award.

Zhu Yujie is a student in the 24th level of our college's Food Intelligent Processing Technology (Food Safety and Testing) Middle to High Level Communication Class. During her five-year communication training at Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University and Shanghai Trade School, she has been carefully guided by professional teachers and industry experts from both schools and has participated in several baking industry related competitions. Won a silver medal in the baking (World Selection) event of the 2nd Vocational Skills Competition of the People's Republic of China. First place in the baking project of the first Shanghai Vocational Skills Competition. Fifth place in the Shanghai selection round of the 2nd National Skills Competition.
I really enjoy the process of the competition, which is tense, exciting and challenging. I demonstrated my professional skills in the competition and had the opportunity to exchange and learn from competitors from other regions.
