From 1978 to 1982, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Materials from the School of Materials Science at East China University of Science and Technology.

From 1982 to 1985, I pursued a master's degree in functional polymers at the School of Materials Science, East China University of Science and Technology.

From 1985 to 1988, I taught courses in Polymer Physics, Polymer Chemistry, and Technology at the Department of Polymer Materials at Qingdao Institute of Chemical Technology. I was awarded the title of lecturer in 1986.

Ph.D. in Materials Science, China Textile University (now Donghua University), 1988-1991

From 1991 to 1997, I worked in the School of Materials Science at East China University of Science and Technology, engaged in teaching and research. Obtained the title of associate professor in September 1995.

6.1995.9-11 Visiting Researcher, Osaka Institute of Industrial Technology, Japan Ministry of Industry and Technology.

7.1996.9-11 Visiting Professor, Osaka Institute of Industrial Technology, Japan Ministry of Industry and Technology.

From 1997 to 1999, I participated in a major research project on tissue engineering funded by JSPS at the Institute of Regenerative Medicine, Kyoto University in Japan. I studied under the renowned Japanese biomaterial expert Professor Yoshihito Sakai and obtained a postdoctoral degree. We have completed the preparation of a new type of medical adhesive and conducted animal experiments to test its medical properties.

From September 1999 to 2003, a researcher at the National University of Singapore, participated in the establishment of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and assisted in the establishment of the Laboratory of Biomaterials and Nanobiology. We have conducted comprehensive research on the use of biomaterials for tissue engineering, bone tissue, muscle bonding, and vascular regeneration.
