On the morning of December 3rd, at the invitation of the Food Specialty Department of Shanghai Food Science and Technology University, students of the class of 2012 of the Food Department of our college visited and studied in the school.
This visit has attracted the attention of both our school and the Food Science and Technology School. Dean He Renlong and President Bi Yulong have given important instructions. Shen Chunyan, teacher of Food Specialty Department, was responsible for communication and coordination. The visit was divided into two parts. First, Mr. Li Shuo led the students to visit the training building of our school. In the fruit and vegetable juice beverage processing workshop, beside the modern analytical instruments of food inspection and testing, the students fully felt the charm of modern food industry; Then Xia Xiangdong, Jin Hongwei and Chen Xiaofang led the students to feel the charm of food culture and experience the preparation of western dessert. With careful preparation and guidance, the three teachers provided Chinese students with three kinds of pastry preparation. The students felt the characteristics and fun of food specialty during the experience and made a variety of special pastry. At noon, the logistics staff of our school prepared lunch for the students.
The trip to Jinshan was a friendly and joyous trip to enhance communication and mutual understanding between the two sides. The students expressed that they are full of confidence in their study and life in our school next year. They hope to gain solid skills through the study in Kingsoft and lay a solid foundation for their future employment.
