Food Processing Technology (Baking and Beverage Processing) Major Enrollment Guide for 2020

Professional features: In the past two years, the passing rate of senior Western pastry chefs is as high as 98%. Students have the opportunity to obtain the technician qualification certificate of Western pastry chefs through training; We have a professional teaching team led by Mr. Xu Jinbao, former head chef of Doubletree Hilton Shanghai East Jinjiang, and 5 senior Western pastry chefs. It has a good cooperative relationship with LENOTRE, a dessert school in Paris known as the Harvard in the catering industry, and can recommend further study in France. Promoting Teaching through competition actively organizes students to participate in skills competitions, such as Baking and Sugar Art projects of the World Skills Competition. It has established school-enterprise cooperation with 85℃, Paris Baguette, Xinghualou, Nanqiao Group, Marriott Hotel and other nearly 10 large enterprises to ensure high-quality employment for students.

Training objectives: Master the professional basic knowledge of baking food processing, Western dessert freezing point making, the preparation of high-grade drinks and wine, food quality control and inspection, food nutrition, and have the basic training of western pastry, dessert, decorating technology, Western wine mixing, food safety testing and other operation skills, at the same time, set up business courses such as chain enterprise management, food enterprise accounting basis, etc. As a professional extension course, it aims to improve the comprehensive quality of students, cultivate high-quality technical talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, and adapt to the needs of West pastry chain enterprises, baked food industry, food production enterprises, star hotels, cafes, high-end bars, etc., and encourage some students to start their own businesses.
