Onboarding Training

1、 Guiding ideology


To create a favorable environment for lifelong education and sustainable development of teachers, and to cultivate high moral cultivation, excellent professional quality


A teaching team with complete teaching skills, strong basic teaching skills, certain teaching and research abilities, and adaptability to the needs of the new era and new curriculum reform.


2、 Training objectives:


1). Facing all teachers, participating in training and strengthening their awareness of lifelong learning.


2). Carry out training around the school running objectives and characteristics, focus on training teachers' scientific knowledge and skills, improve scientific literacy, and build a team of teachers that can meet the needs of school running characteristics.


3). Promote the professional development of teachers and encourage their versatile development. Promote the further improvement of teachers' professional level and educational and teaching abilities, and transition to a research-oriented and scholar oriented approach.


4). Strengthen the construction of the backbone teacher team, enhance the scientific research ability of young teachers, gradually increase the number and quality of research-oriented teachers, increase the proportion of backbone teachers, and improve their level.


5). To achieve the goal of improving the overall quality of teachers and the comprehensive ability of school education and teaching.


3、 Training principles


1). Adhere to the principle of putting the school first, that is, starting from the actual situation of the school, taking the development of the school as the foundation, and based on oneself, to achieve the improvement of quality after training and solve practical problems in education and teaching.


2). Adhering to the principle of putting people first, starting from the actual situation of teachers, helping them to determine their development goals in a hierarchical manner, which is beneficial for mobilizing teachers' enthusiasm, enabling them to actively participate and innovate themselves.


3). Implement training in practice and showcase the results of training in educational and teaching practices.


4、 Training content


Actively carry out training aimed at improving the overall quality of teachers and promoting the professional level of teachers. Combining the planning and academic affairs office, centralized guidance, and individual guidance from the teaching and research group to guide the new with the old; Combining communication and discussion with individual self-learning insights, fully leveraging the role of excellent teachers as mentors, helpers, and mentors. Focusing on strengthening teachers' understanding of contemporary teaching profession, teacher ethics standards, and teacher professional quality, establishing the correct ideology of dedication and dedication to the education cause. New teachers should clarify the basic processes, norms, requirements, and basic responsibilities of school education and teaching work, and standardize their educational and teaching behaviors. Cultivate the ability of new teachers to apply theory to practice and master basic teaching skills, and provide training in lesson preparation and presentation methods. Strengthen the self-learning ability of counselors, further improve ideological and political literacy, strengthen students' awareness of work education and management ability, and cultivate a professional team with strong politics, positive work style, and strong business skills.


1. Business training


1) Taking project research as the starting point, we aim to cultivate three research teams: moral education, teaching, and administrative management. We will organize teachers to learn modern educational research theories, guide them to master general research methods, enhance their scientific research awareness, enhance their scientific research ability, cultivate their sustainable development ability, and lead them to truly enter professional development schools for teachers to conduct relevant practical research, Help teachers improve their professional ethics and educational level.

2. Training for backbone teachers

1) Strengthen the construction of the team of backbone teachers in our school, fully leverage their research driving role, and lay a solid foundation for our school's research. Organize backbone teachers to participate in specialized training on scientific research ability improvement, further encourage teachers to continuously improve their own ability level, complete the accumulation of scientific research ability, lay the foundation for their own scientific research ability improvement, and safeguard the improvement of teachers' scientific research ability. Backbone teachers should make contributions to promoting the development of scientific research work and improving the level of teaching staff construction in the school.

2) Organize and participate in the training course for professional leaders of Shanghai vocational colleges, in order to strengthen the connotation construction of vocational colleges, improve the level of professional construction, and help professional leaders provide guidance, work ideas, and main content for professional construction. Through centralized training and a two-week optimized talent cultivation plan, as well as assessment of related tasks, we learn the latest vocational education concepts, master the principles, paths, and methods of professional construction, expand our professional perspective, improve our professional diagnosis and analysis abilities, and overall professional implementation abilities. Through training, we have comprehensively improved the abilities of professional leaders in various aspects.

3) Organizing backbone teachers to participate in the 2017 Shanghai Private University Strong Teacher Project training has increased theoretical improvement and teaching ability through specialized theoretical lectures by experts and various teaching and training practical methods courses.

3. New teacher onboarding training

1) Our school leaders attach great importance to the promotion of language and writing. In order to further promote language and writing work and improve the Mandarin proficiency level of our school staff, we have conducted training on Mandarin proficiency testing for new teachers.

2) At the beginning of the school year, new teachers will be trained, combining theoretical and practical training. A teacher with noble ethics, rich experience in education and teaching, and a strong sense of responsibility will be assigned as a guide to guide new teachers in all aspects of education and teaching, specifically guiding their educational and teaching practices, effectively improving their professional abilities, and adapting to new job positions as soon as possible.

3) In order to enable new teachers to quickly understand and master their responsibilities and necessary basic knowledge, through training, new teachers can update their educational concepts and enhance their level of professional ethics and cultivation; Understand and preliminarily master the course standards; Develop educational and teaching abilities; Improve the recognition of new teachers towards the school's educational philosophy and culture, integrate them into the school's educational culture as soon as possible, and shorten the period of role transformation for new teachers.

4. Counselor training

1) Counselors are the backbone of student ideological and political education work and an indispensable and important force in ensuring the sustainable development of higher education. Conduct counselor training to enhance counselor theoretical knowledge and work skills.

2) Conduct pre job training, expand the comprehensive qualities and knowledge required for counselors, analyze ideological and political education and current affairs policies, conduct student work and management methods, and provide psychological health education and guidance. Invite experts to give lectures, conduct study and investigation, and combine various forms of discussion and exchange to build a multi-level, multi-channel, multi form, and practical training pattern.

5、 Training format

1) Expert training: Hire education experts and teachers with certain experience and reputation both inside and outside the school, such as backbone teachers, subject leaders, and special level teachers, to give special lectures on education, teaching, educational reform, and research to help teachers establish a correct education concept.

2) Exchange and Discussion: Organize research courses around some valuable issues that arise in education and teaching, summarize experiences through participation, experience, and reflection, change educational concepts, learn from others' strengths through discussions and exchanges, enhance awareness, promote self-improvement, and promote overall improvement.

3) Observation and appreciation: Using modern information technology and multimedia, organize teachers to watch videos related to curriculum reform, teaching, and teacher ethics.
