Recently, Wu Youzhi, a teacher from the Food School of our school, won the 2019 Shanghai Yucai Award according to the announcement of the 2019 Shanghai Yucai Award Winners by Shanghai Education Development Foundation. The Shanghai Yucai Award was established by Shanghai Education Development Foundation in 1995 to encourage teachers and educators who have been engaged in higher education for a long time and made outstanding contributions to education, teaching, scientific research and educational management. The selection and award activities of Shanghai Yucai Award have played a positive role in publicizing and giving full play to the social influence of college teachers in Shanghai, mobilizing their enthusiasm, and promoting the reform and development of Shanghai higher education.
Professor Wu Youzhi, Doctor, Associate professor, Shanghai Morning light Program scholar, Executive Vice President of Food College of our university. Since he engaged in college education in July 2013, he has been loyal to the people's education cause, exemplary performance of duties, with good professional ethics. We have been committed to the development of the Food School of our university. With only one office, we have built the most comprehensive food professional system among Shanghai universities in four years. From scratch, we have gained a certain popularity among Shanghai universities.
In the past five years, Ms. Wu Youzhi has successfully applied for and presided over two pilot programs of professional reform in Shanghai, established the first skill evaluation station Food Inspector in Shanghai Chinese Overseas Chinese Vocational and Technical College, presided over the construction project of multi-period food experiment and training room, and preliminarily became a food college with undergraduate education foundation, and presided over the application work of food quality and safety vocational undergraduate program pilot. He edited 2 textbooks, presided over 2 provincial and ministerial projects, participated in 2 national projects, and published more than 10 papers. Teacher Wu Youzhi has been keeping close interaction with enterprises, and has been engaged in technical promotion and legal and regulatory consulting services of unattended food production and sales machines. She has undertaken a number of related projects, and has gained a certain reputation in this field.
