From May 27th to June 7th, the practical teaching of sketching and collecting styles for undergraduate students in the 23rd grade of the School of Arts was conducted in the scenic Longyou County, Zhejiang Province. Longyou County has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Its unique natural scenery and quaint village style provide excellent materials for this sketching practice. Under the leadership of Vice Dean Mao Na, Professor Kong Jin, Professor He Xiaozhou, Dr. Zhu Lemeng, Director He Junjie, and Professor Rong Sheng, all undergraduate students of Class 23 went deep into the ancient village of Sanmenyuan in Zeyi, Longyou County, capturing the harmonious beauty of nature and culture with their paintbrushes. In order to fully demonstrate the learning achievements of the 23rd grade undergraduate students in the practical teaching of sketching and drawing, and to reflect the development of students' skills, artistic expression, and creativity in practical activities, the School of Arts hereby holds an online exhibition of works on the 23rd grade undergraduate sketching and drawing practice.
Firstly, there is an exhibition of landscape sketches. After strict screening, we have selected 38 excellent landscape sketches from 23 students for display. These works fully showcase the natural scenery of Longyou Ancient Village, showcasing students' keen observation and unique artistic expression of the natural and cultural environment. During the creative process, students delve into nature and experience life, transforming what they see and feel into vivid and delicate paintings through their brushes. These works not only reflect the students' artistic skills, but also convey their love and reverence for nature and life.
