From May 16th to 18th, 2025, the Shanghai Exhibition Center hosted a grand event in the education sector - the 22nd Shanghai Education Expo 2025. Under the guidance of the Shanghai Municipal Education and Health Work Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, this year's Education Expo, hosted by the Shanghai Education Press and Periodicals General Society, with the theme of "AI Meets Education, Intelligence Opens the Future", focuses on the integration of AI and education. It has attracted nearly many education-related units to participate, jointly showcasing the practical achievements of AI in assisting education and exploring new paths for educational modernization.
At this grand event where education and technology blend, the School of Art of Zhongqiao University also made a brilliant appearance, adding a touch of bright cultural color to the exhibition. Our institute has taken "Intangible Cultural Heritage Jinshan Peasant Paintings and Their Cultural and Creative Products" as a highlight, attracting the attention of many visitors.
The teachers and students of the Art College, driven by their love for traditional culture and a sense of mission to pass it on, have innovatively transformed Jinshan peasant paintings. The cultural and creative products on display at the scene are novel in design, exquisite and practical, perfectly combining artistry and practicality, allowing the ancient intangible cultural heritage to enter the public eye in a brand-new form. There are not only folding fans, tea trays and greeting cards, but also keychains and mugs that incorporate modern design concepts. These cultural and creative products, while preserving the unique artistic style of Jinshan peasant paintings, are more in line with the living needs and aesthetic concepts of modern people, attracting many guests and visitors to stop and appreciate and inquire.
