On September 3, 2024, the School of Arts successfully held a meeting for new teachers in Room 301 of Building 5. The purpose of this conference is to promote the rapid integration of newly hired teachers into the college environment, clarify their career development direction, and strengthen communication and cooperation among teachers. Jiang Bin, Dean of the School of Arts, Dai Hongmei, Secretary of the Party General Branch and Vice Dean, Mao Na, Vice Dean of Teaching, and other college leaders, professional directors, party organization members, and all newly recruited teachers participated in the meeting, which was chaired by Zhang Tingting, Director of the Office.
At the beginning of the meeting, Jiang Bin, Dean of the School of Arts, delivered a speech, warmly welcoming the new teachers and briefly introducing the current situation of the faculty team construction in the college. Dean Jiang pointed out that with the continuous expansion of the college scale and the increase in the number of students, strengthening the construction of the teaching staff is the key to enhancing the overall strength of the college. He encourages new and old teachers to strengthen communication and cooperation, jointly promote teaching reform and innovative teaching methods, in order to better serve the growth and development of students.
Subsequently, the new teachers introduced themselves one by one, sharing their educational backgrounds and professional experiences. They expressed their love for the education industry and their expectations for new jobs, while also stating that they will actively adapt to the college environment and strive to improve their teaching level and professional competence.
During the communication session, Dean Jiang Bin and Secretary Dai Hongmei provided detailed answers to the questions raised by new teachers, and conducted in-depth discussions on how to improve teaching quality and strengthen subject construction. Finally, Secretary Dai emphasized that new teachers should focus on personal growth and career planning, and be brave enough to try new teaching methods and means, becoming responsible and good teachers.
The convening of this new teacher meeting not only provides a platform for new teachers to understand each other and exchange experiences, but also injects new vitality and motivation into the future development of the college. I believe that with the joint efforts of all teachers, the School of Arts will continue to achieve new accomplishments.
