Guided by economic development and market demand, this major actively participates in the training of E-sports and live webcast skill to provide talents needed for the construction of global e-sport center in Shanghai. The major integrates innovation and entrepreneurship education and promotes the joint consultation between schools and enterprises to establish a course system that adapts to the new situation, highlighting the task-oriented mode of training students to enable the gradually improvement of the ability and skills from course work. Students has won prizes such as the first prize of Shanghai Higher Vocational College Film and TV League and the first prize of Shanghai University Electric Challenge Competition. The core faculty of this major has achieved excellent accomplishments, among which has obtained one senior certificate of e-commerce specialist; and 75% of them are double-qualified. Huge attention has paid to the construction of training labs, and built one leading 270-degree panoramic classroom and one VR holographic laboratory with nine high-performance live webcasting rooms.

Program Objectives

Adapt to the requirements of e-sport and network live broadcasting trend, rhis major trains the all-round students who have good humanities, artistic accomplishment, innovative spirit and foresight, good communication skills with the theories and methods of e-sport and network live broadcasting. Be able to analysis the large data of e-sport, analysis the tactical information of e-sport teams, and plan and manage e-sport competitions. Process the skills such as event organization and management, e-sport program production, e-sport event commentary, etc.
