At 13:00 on September 22, 2023, the International Exchange Office of SHZQU and the School of International Education jointly held a seminar on international work in the new semester. The purpose of this meeting is to summarize the achievements of the internationalization work in the last semester, share experience with each other, and put forward expectations and requirements for the internationalization work in the new semester.
Wang Ling, Director of the International Exchange Office and Deputy Dean of the School of International Education, first introduced the division of functions between the International Exchange Office and the School of International Education, as well as the results of the school's internationalization work in the first half of the year. Finally, she stressed the work that needs to be done in the next stage, asking the external affairs officer to fully understand and recognize the school's international exchange program. It can be widely promoted to the counselors and professional teachers of the college. At the same time, according to the needs of the college's professional development and students' own situation, we need to match suitable projects for students, and fully guide and care for students' professional learning and foreign language learning.
Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education, acknowledged and thanked the external affairs officer for their hard work over the past year. She stressed that the Institute of International Education was established to cultivate students' interest in foreign languages, thereby stimulating their yearning for foreign studies and cultures. The School of International Education will continue to develop new projects to build a platform for students to go abroad, and encourage external affairs officer to strengthen communication and contact with the International Exchange Office and the School of International Education in the new school year, and strive to contribute to the internationalization of the school.
Through this meeting, the participants had a clearer understanding and planning of the internationalization work in the new semester, and also enhanced the sense of team cohesion and cooperation.
