Su Yu has a bachelor's degree in computer science from Jiao Tong University, Branch in Shanghai and master’s degree in computer security from Lawrence Technological University in USA.
She teaches courses in Computer Network, Computer Security and Secrecy, Discrete Mathematics, XML Technology and Principles and other professional courses. She chairs the project 'High-end Large-scale Programmable Automation Systems High-speed Safety Real-time Industrial Network Research' supported by national high-tech research development plan (863 Program), the project 'Assembly Line-oriented System Integration and Testing' supported by national technology support plan and other national support projects. She presided over three scientific research projects of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Education, as well as provincial-level scientific research projects such as the key undergraduate teaching reform project of the Shanghai Municipal University. She presided over the 'Shanghai Overseas Master' Project and established excellent academic exchanges with overseas universities. She also presided over a number of cross-cutting issues and corporate cooperation, has accumulated a wealth of practical problem-solving experience. Recently, there are 20 articles included by SCI, EI and ISTP in domestic and foreign journals, 2 textbooks published, and 11 scientific research projects undertaken recently, including 2 at national level and 3 at provincial and ministerial level, other 7 items. She has supervised many masters and led students to participate in various competitions while guiding their studies, and has won various awards at the national and provincial levels.
