Zhang Yue, a Japanese expert in the field of elderly care / rehabilitation, a welfare consulting representative of Co., Ltd., a consultant of Tsukui Pension Group Company, a director of the China-Japan Welfare Talents Association, and a Japanese-Chinese teacher, was invited to give a report entitled The Enlightenment of Japanese Rehabilitation and Elderly Care to China. Zhang Jie, Dean of the School of Nursing and Health, Cao Xuenan, Secretary of the Party Branch, and a number of full-time teachers and counselors attended the exchange meeting, and all students of the School of Nursing actively participated in the exchange and were full.

Subsequently, teacher Zhang Yue elaborated on the origin of Japanese pension and the current situation of aging in Japan, and introduced the development and countermeasures of Japanese pension. Professor Zhang Yue pointed out that because Japan is the first country in Asia to enter the aging society, it is also the country with the fastest aging process and the highest proportion of the elderly population in the world, and it also has similar cultural traditions to China. Therefore, the experience of urban community elderly care in Japan has very important reference significance for China. China's urban community elderly care services began in the 80s of the 20th century, after more than 30 years of development, it can be seen that certain progress has been made, but there are still many problems that urgently need a large number of excellent talent reserves.
The establishment of the School of Nursing and Health of Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University is also to cultivate relevant talents, adhering to the consistent social responsibility and fraternity spirit of overseas Chinese people. The School of Nursing and Health offers two majors: nursing (aged nursing) and nursing (rehabilitation nursing), and graduates of these two majors will participate in the national nurse practitioner qualification examination together with clinical nursing students. The nurse practitioner qualification certificate obtained is applicable to all comprehensive medical institutions in the country. After graduation, students can choose to work in major comprehensive medical institutions and specialized medical institutions across the country. At the same time, according to the new needs of medical services and the development trend of mobile Internet, Zhongqiao Nursing and Health College has added new disciplines such as telemedicine and Internet of Things for elderly patients, and students will have a broader employment area, and can go to geriatric rehabilitation hospitals, home-based elderly care service institutions, high-end elderly care communities and other medical and nursing care institutions to choose a career.
