In order to carry forward the volunteer service spirit of dedication, friendship, mutual aid and progress, enhance the sense of honor and belonging of volunteers and stimulate the enthusiasm of college students for innovative design we hold the 7th Volunteer Badge Design Competition.
China International Import Expo (CIIE) is the world's first import-themed national expo, which has been successfully held for six sessions since 2018 and has become an important platform for the world to share China's development opportunities.
As an important part of the Expo, the volunteers of the Expo have won wide praise from domestic and foreign guests with their professional and enthusiastic services. The volunteer badge of the Expo is not only a recognition and reward for volunteer work, but also an important carrier of the volunteer culture of the Expo.
With the theme of gathering volunteer forces and drawing an open future together, Centering on the new era and sharing the future theme slogan of the expo, combining the volunteer service spirit of dedication, friendship, mutual aid and progress.
Individuals and teams can participate. Individual participants are required to submit their works under their names. Teams will be composed of two or more persons. Each work should be marked with all the authors and the same work can only participate in one badge.
Format requirements: The design can be vector graphics (such as AI, EPS format) or high-resolution bitmap images (resolution 300dpi / inch or more, size 5M or more), each badge design size contains the original and 5 times magnification.
Submission Requirements: Please package the application form (see Annex 2), acceptance letter (see Annex 3) and schematics (including original and 5 times enlarged) into a compressed file (such as ZIP format).
(1) Award Setting
Three finalists will be selected under each badge name, and the best creative award under each badge name will be selected among the finalists. The Best Creative Award will be selected for the best creative award under each badge name. The Best Creative Award works will be used during the 7th CIIE to show awards.
(2) Selection criteria
Cultural: The design should integrate Chinese traditional culture and modern creative elements, reflecting the open and inclusive concept of the fair.
Artistry: The design should embody the spiritual value of volunteer service in the Expo through exquisite patterns, elegant modeling and youthful color matching.
Practicality: The design should consider comfortable to wear, suitable size and weight, reasonable material, and can meet the needs of volunteers for long-term wear.
Once the participants enter the competition, they shall be deemed as promising to guarantee that there is no intellectual property dispute, no copying, plagiarism, embezzlement and other acts. Once found - disqualified from the competition . Where participation in the competition works involved in any legal disputes shall be the legal responsibility of the participants .
The content of the design should meet the requirements of laws and regulations and social public order and good customs. All the entries received by the organizer will not be returned - participants should keep their own copy of.
From the date of submission of the entry to the Competition Organizer, the entrant shall be deemed to have agreed that the knowledge of the intellectual property of the work belongs to the contest Organizer
