Promoting Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the curriculum, implementing the fundamental task of fostering virtue and building people, the Shanghai Teacher Training Center began a research course on party building and ideological and political work in private higher education institutions in November 2022. The course, titled "Practical Exploration of Ideological and Political Education in College English Curriculum" submitted by our teacher, Xu Jiani, was approved for funding and successfully completed.
Through recommendations from various universities, city-level exhibitions, expert reviews, and committee evaluations, the course won the second prize for research achievements. Our institution will continue to take "fostering virtue and building people" as the foundation, actively creating a good atmosphere to promote young teachers' establishment of ideological and political education concepts in professional teaching, and provide continuous support for the professional development of young teachers.
