On October 11, 2023, the global finals of the BIAF2023 Busan International Art Festival, which has a great influence in the field of international art and creativity, came to an end. The special China selection competition of this year's BIAF2023 aims to strengthen the internationalization characteristics of the competition, create a high-end international cultural and creative exchange exhibition platform, provide excellent works of teachers, students, industry designers, and artists in the field of education in China, and provide international exhibition and exchange opportunities to fully showcase the face of contemporary creative design in China. Participation situation
On October 3-10, 2023, the BIAF2023 Finals Review Conference was held in Busan, South Korea. Nearly 10000 works from 74 countries or regions around the world have entered the BIAF2023 finals. Following the established evaluation process, 1171 award-winning works were ultimately selected, including 188 award-winning works from the China region. The works of Liu Huxia from the School of Information Engineering, titled One Heart, Moving the Epidemic, and Dong Ruiwen's Dunhuang Rabbit, respectively, won special awards in the Global Finals. This award showcases the depth of the professional design ability of the teachers in the School of Information Technology and the breadth of their international perspective, as well as the presentation of the international achievements in talent cultivation in the school.
