In order to further enhance the construction of teacher ethics and conduct, promote noble teacher ethics and conduct, and promote the normalization of teacher ethics and conduct in the School of Information Engineering, a large-scale discussion on teacher ethics and conduct was held on September 23 in Room 501 of Building 9. The event is hosted by Professor Zhao Xin, Dean of the college.
Before starting, everyone focused on studying the teacher ethics warning cases publicly released by the Ministry of Education and the recent negative cases exposed on the internet, requiring everyone to take the case as a warning, be vigilant, and abide by the professional ethics standards of teachers.
All teachers had a great discussion on both positive and negative aspects around the case of teacher ethics warning and typical cases of good teachers around them. Everyone had a profound understanding of how to be a good teacher that students like, and compared it with the Ten Guidelines for Professional Behavior of College Teachers in the New Era to conduct self analysis, identify problems, identify shortcomings, and set direction.
Teachers engaged in heated discussions, some of whom wrote, To think of what students think, to be anxious about what students are anxious about, to be strict and compassionate, and to adhere to the original intention of education. Some teachers wrote, We must base ourselves on our own duties, prioritize morality, take good teachers around us as role models, and be good teachers that students truly like. Everyone unanimously expressed the need to constantly improve ourselves, keep up with the times, enhance our inner cultivation, and do our job well down-to-earth, Love every student wholeheartedly.
Subsequently, Dean Zhao Xin invited some teachers to share their experiences and practices on the teaching journey. They infected everyone with their solid professional skills, tireless work style, full of love and sense of responsibility.
This great discussion on professional ethics and conduct has sparked discussions around us, with practical results and actions, effectively promoting the construction of professional ethics and conduct in the college.
