Students majoring in drones from Shanghai Zhongqiao Vocational and Technical University actively participated and showcased their latest achievements at the Education Expo, bringing visitors a unique technological feast!
Their booth gathers various types of drones, from small-scale aerial drones to large-scale industry professional drones, showcasing the diversity and innovation of drone technology.
Zhang Zhenyu introduced, Our team combined the characteristics of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the field of surveying and mapping to conduct high-precision 3D modeling for our school, and integrated backend software to bring stunning 3D sandbox modeling to visitors. Of course, our team gained valuable experience in the process of surveying and mapping, and can use the pre planned flight route of the aircraft for surveying and mapping operations. The fastest completion can be achieved in a few tens of minutes.
In addition to showcasing the hardware of drones, students also demonstrated the software operations of various drone applications. Zhang Suliang explained, We have researched and developed an open-source application for secondary development, and fused it with valuable data from our drone flight, so that we can better provide important information such as aerial data for ground operators during the flight process.
Visitors to the Education Expo all stopped to watch, expressing admiration for the innovative, practical spirit, and excellent professional abilities of these young students. A slightly older visitor said, These drone technologies are really cool, especially when we see the younger generation achieving a high level of technology application and development.
