On October 23, Kim Williams, International Program Director of University of South Wales, Sam Huang, Regional Manager, Ella Tang, student recruitment officer, Zhu Zhengqi, Vice Dean of Shanghai Zhendong Business College visited our university and gave lectures on study abroad programs for our students. Yan Hui, Dean of the School of International Education, Wang Ling, Director of the International Exchange Department, Yang Hui, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Economics and Management, and Guo Jun, deputy secretary of the General Party Branch, participated in the reception.
Dean Yan Hui hopes to further deepen the cooperation between the two universities and carry out more high-quality cooperation and exchange projects. Secretary Yang Hui introduced the basic situation of the School of Economics and Management.
Director Wang Ling introduced the current foreign exchange programs of the school. Kim Williams introduced the geographical location, learning environment and professional setting of the University of South Wales. Sam Huang and Ella Tang respectively introduced the specific content of the “2+1” and “3+1” education programs(upgrade from junior college student to university student).
Dean Yan Hui said that the visit of the University of South Wales has promoted the cooperation between the two sides in the fields of personnel training and educational upgrading. These projects will provide more students with opportunities to broaden their horizons and improve their academic qualifications.
In 2016, our school officially established a cooperative relationship with the University of South Wales, and up to now, more than 30 students have participated in the study abroad program and obtained bachelor's and master's degrees.
