A two-month webinar training program for Blended Learning Design and Application of the University of Helsinki, Finland complected

To further promote the innovation of classroom teaching mode and strengthen the quality of the school's curriculum, several teachers of the School of Foreign Languages actively participated in a two-month webinar training program for Blended Learning Design and Application of the University of Helsinki, Finland, between September 16 to November 18, 2022.

During the training, Minna Lakkala and Liisa Postareff from Department of Educational Sciences of the University of Helsinki gave in-depth and comprehensive interactions with participating teachers on topics such as approaches to teaching and learning, promoting and organizing student collaboration, teachers' and students' digital competence, pedagogical practices with digital technology etc.. Some external experts were also invited to share their experiences and results of blended learning with participating teachers.

Through this program, teachers enhanced their digital literacy and empowered themselves with blended learning theories and practices, which will open more opportunities for the school’s attempt in blended teaching.
