Gathering strength in the Dragon Leap of the Chinese New Year and drawing a new chapter with concerted determination, the School of Information Engineering held the 2024 faculty and staff conference in Room 501 of Building 9 on March 1, marking the beginning of the new semester with a new atmosphere. The attendees include Dean Zhao Xin, Vice Dean Yuan Ming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Branch Tang Bin, and all faculty and staff members of the college. The meeting is chaired by Dean Zhao Xin.
At the beginning of the meeting, Dean Zhao Xin conveyed the spirit of the school's new semester retreat and highly affirmed the remarkable achievements and work achievements of the college in various teaching skills competitions in 2023. She warmly encourages all teachers to actively participate in various teaching competitions at all levels, hoping that every teacher can innovate and break through in the teaching competition, further improving their teaching level. She has made comprehensive arrangements for this semester's work from multiple perspectives, including classification evaluation, dual teacher certification, teacher team building, subject development, international certification, high-quality courses, skills competitions, etc. She emphasized that the key task of the college in 2024 is to promote the project responsibility system, actively introduce projects, form synergy, strengthen curriculum and textbook construction, actively participate in vocational skills competitions, and enhance the international perspective and cross-cultural communication ability of faculty and staff.
Vice Dean Yuan Ming has clarified the requirements for the new semester's education and teaching tasks based on his own responsibilities. He encourages teachers to work with an innovative spirit and firm determination to promote professional construction, enhance governance capabilities, explore new paths in education and teaching based on student characteristics, cultivate good learning habits, help students deeply understand, master, and consolidate knowledge and skills, in order to significantly improve the quality of education and teaching and the effectiveness of talent cultivation in the new semester.
