Moving Forward! Zhongqiao University swimming team achieve great results and win the "Excellent Organization Award" in the debut of "Dream Cup" Competition

On April 27th, students from Zhongqiao University won excellent results in the second special event of the 2024 Dream Cup Competition of Shanghai Students Sports League.



The representative team of Zhongqiao University earned their first win, achieving the eighth place in the total group score. They also gained good outcomes of the Men's and Women's 4×100 Meter Medley Relay with fourth place, the Women's 4x100 Meter Breaststroke Relay with sixth place, and the Men's and Women's 8x50 Meter Freestyle Relay with sixth place.




The competition is jointly guided by the Shanghai Committee of Chinese Communist Youth League, the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission, and the Shanghai Administration of Sports. The competition includes four major events: Mixed 4x100 Meter Medley Relay, Men's 4x100 Meter Breaststroke Relay, Women's 4x100 Meter Breaststroke Relay, and Mixed 8x50 Meter Freestyle Relay. A total of more than 300 athletes from 29 universities  participated in this competition.



Under guidance of coach Wang Yifan, Shanghai Zhongqiao swimming team worked closely, trusted each other completely and performed perfectly during the competition. Every member in the team fully displayed their best abilities and showcased the outstanding style of Zhongqiao.



Throughout intense competition, the Zhongqiao University’s representative team demonstrated resilient sportsmanship and the spirit of teamwork and cooperation. They not only achieved excellent results, but also won the Excellent Organization Award in this event.


Shanghai Zhongqiao swimming team will continue to uphold the motto of virtuous in character, dedicated to work, and persevered in learning, constantly present aspiration of Zhongqiao youth and strive for progress and excellent results in the future.
